Stamping concrete involves the use of large rubber mats (stamp design) that are placed and tamped down on top of freshly poured concrete.  Release agents are utilized during the process, which are dry color powders that add definition to the final texture of the specific stamp. Secondary coloring is then applied by staining or accenting.
